My name is Stephanie Leschenko and I devote my time to caring for pets in the comfort of their own homes so you can enjoy your time away knowing they are safe and happy.

I started Spotted Wellies after I adopted my cat Malo from a rescue centre. When I went on holiday I booked him into a cattery. After 10 minutes of trying to get him into the carrier, then the journey to the cattery during which he yowled the whole way I don’t know which one of us was more stressed! I did worry about him on holiday and when I got back he ignored me for a week!

Kennels and catteries can often be a stressful experience for a pet as they are in a strange environment with unfamiliar noises and smells with people they don’t know.

So the idea of providing caring, professional care for pets in a familiar environment came to mind in the form of Spotted Wellies. My service is an alternative to the considerable stress of boarding for both your pet and you, who have to take time out of your day to transport your animal (and invent new and interesting ways of getting them into the carrier in the first place!!)

I am currently studying 2 courses with the animal college- one in veterinary nursing covering all aspects of animal care including first aid and the second course is pet nutrition.

Your pet is my priority and will be fed, fussed and played with and their routine is undisrupted.
